Grow your career at The Australasian College Broadway

The Australasian College Broadway is a great place to grow your career. We offer our people competitive salary packages, career opportunities, professional development and excellent working conditions.

The College is renowned for its high calibre educators and trainers who are committed to delivering an outstanding educational experience for our students.

We recognise that our people are integral to helping us achieve our mission of enhancing lives through skills and knowledge, and we’ve built an organisation where people are motivated, engaged and enjoy their work, and where they receive the support they need to reach their full potential.

There are almost 100 employees at the College, many of whom have worked overseas, in high profile positions or owned their own businesses. Most importantly, all of our staff were students at some point in their lives. In fact, many of them studied at the College – so they understand what it’s like to be a student.

Culture of respect

Together we have built a working culture which supports our organisational values.

Our values are based on the premise that we should ‘treat our students and colleagues as we wish to be treated’. Our values represent a shared understanding of what we stand for and the behaviours that we promote within the College. Our values are:

  • Focusing on the customer: putting the student first
  • Striving for quality and excellence in everything we do
  • Belonging to the team at all times
  • Delivering solutions through collaboration
  • Being accountable for our actions and behaviour
  • Holding others responsible for their actions
  • Continually improving through innovation and creativity
  • Committing to a culture of mutual respect and understanding

A diverse organisation

We are proud of the cultural diversity of our employees and students.

Our staff and students come from all over the world including Australia, China, South Korea, India, Japan and Indonesia. We believe that diversity is a strategic asset to our organisation and brings different perspectives, experiences and contributions which help to enrich the learning environment.

The College is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and ensuring that all of our people management practices are free from discrimination.

Investing in careers

Our people are our most valuable asset and to ensure that we continue to attract and retain the best in our industry, we make significant investments in their professional and personal development. This investment helps to set up our employees for success in their roles, helping them to grow professionally and to deliver world’s best practice education to our students.

All new employees are supported in their first few months at the College through a comprehensive staff induction program. We also offer mentoring, peer coaching and onsite learning to support employees to reach their full potential at the College. Externally, we support a range of professional development activities and focus on staff development during student-free weeks.

Flexible working environment

The College is committed to providing a healthy work/life balance for staff with flexibility to help manage family needs and personal issues.

Where possible, we support our employees by offering flexible working arrangements including flexible hours, working from home or off-site, part-time work and job sharing. We also support our staff to undertake volunteer opportunities both individually and as teams.
